This is nothing more than political satire from a right wing conglomerate posing as a fair market venue in the wide world of news. I don't have to tell you who I'm talking about. This particular group has invested a lot of time money and man power to get this to stick in the minds of people as there slogan weather you believe in it or not. I don't even have to say who they are.... You know who they are. Now when I think fair and balanced, I think I would hear multiple views and nothing that caters to either side of the spectrum..... No left or right wing nut job (for a lack of a better word) spewing out the dribble, adding there ideas, opinions, and yeas name calling mixed with the news, but the honest speculation of the three parties.... yes we have a third party as well and they do have a voice. If one group is serving meat and another group is serving vegetables, on the plate of information, we should be served equal shares of the meat and veggies. That is what I think fair and balanced is about..... If all I do is feed people what they want all the time, they lose out on the values and benefits of both foods. Is Fox News really feeding people fair and balanced stuff???? Hell No!!!! It's giving people steak for those that only want to eat steak without the veggie tables. There are many stations and shows that do that. Very little of it is fair and balanced. It’s funny how “Fox News Chicago” is different from “Fox News Station”.
They like so many other news organizations are feeding people with ideas they want to hear, never giving a full perspective.... Now, more than ever, we are living in a world where political views trump out or are replacing moral and religious values... (Any religion) I'll give you an example; (this is especially true for most religious institutions) The way people feel about abortion issue but the feed the poor and take care of the orphan, the widow, the person in prison (the forgotten) all fall in the category of the least, these are no longer religious views, they are political. Though many religious faiths teach that it is a good thing and something thing we do as a people. But we it's not the people’s problem... it's to be taken care of by the church and synagogues of the world.... I speaking as a Christian I have often heard this from other Christians. It's the churches job to take care of this not the government’s job. Are we not the church.... Lots of people agree that "the church" is not a building and a single priest speaking on a pulpit. It is widely understood the people are the church.... when we walk around and talk to others we represent the church. We are who we represent. And it's a shame for people to call themselves religious but remain faithful to a political type of thinking and negate the teachings of their own faith.
We follow people we trust or that make sense to us in our own minds without ever really testing what we put in our ears. as a result, millions of people let themselves be persuaded by a thought and idea a quick talk without some serious thinking, testing and world viewing(if that’s a word). As a young Christian in my college years, I was challenged by a friend (Rusty Wimberley, I'll never forget what you told me) to test everything I hear, which is not just the idea.... "well this sounds good.... must be true" kind of test but a lifelong test and pitching if up to other ideas test out its validity, and see how it's lived out on a day to day. I test everything that I hear... I listen for hatred and fear... stop it in its tracks and peel out the content, motive of what I hear and base it on my moral principal. Not my political one and see if it holds wait.
Greed and fear is at the core of what we call politics sad to say on both sides... and until we realize this and start really thinking what’s what...... Politics will soon replace our morals and values if people see that taxing people in this country is the same as murder and torture an individual..... Then it is a clear sign of a change in morals principle and religious beliefs.
